Marilyn Monroe as Peggy Martin in the 1948 film Ladies of The Chorus in which she shared the screen with Adele Jergens, Rand Brooks and Nana Bryant. This was Marilyn’s first starring role and first onscreen kiss. The film flopped, and thus her six-month contract with Columbia Pictures was not renewed.
